Norman Ebenstein was a visionary real estate developer and philanthropist best known as the founder and long-time president & CEO of Capital Commercial Properties, a firm he led for over 50 years. Under his leadership, the company developed and revitalized numerous retail and mixed-use centers, including the culturally significant Eden Center in Falls Church, Virginia — a vibrant hub for the Vietnamese-American community. A Brown University economics graduate who later earned a law degree from Boston University, Norman balanced his professional achievements with a lifelong commitment to family, community service, and philanthropy. He passed away in 2016, leaving behind a lasting legacy in commercial development and civic engagement.
